“The cabin was warm, welcoming, and clean. The queen bed in the bedroom was soft and comfortable, with an adjustable bed frame with remote control! There is also a Murphy desk in the bedroom, and plenty of space in the closet for hanging clothes.
The cabin felt comfortable and safe. The bedding and bath towels are cotton and feel great. There was shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, ample blankets and fluffy pillows. There are plenty of outlets, along with end tables with built-in charging ports, a smart TV, a new pull-out sofa, and a deck that is perfect for morning coffee in one of the Adirondack chairs. There was a generous supply of coffee grounds, teas, an electric tea pot, nice coffee maker, popcorn, a s’mores kit, and all the things you need to cook a lovely meal.
The setting is inviting. Pines and aspen, a fire pit, and trails to walk the property. While it is easy to find just off the county road, you will also find it a quiet and peaceful respite. Highly recommend!”

“Perfect location for what we needed. The place had everything and it was very clean and cozy! The property was very big, great for being outside. Had the option of using the large garage. Both the main cabin and bunkhouse were clean and had everything.”

It was a great place to stay for a short weekend. The cabin was close to the Chain of Lakes were my son and husband had a weekend fishing tournament. My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed the peaceful outdoors reading a book in the sunshine. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities a person needs to feel right at home. Would definitively recommend.

This was a great space and property; it was a peaceful respite from the chaos of holiday family gatherings. It was 5 mins to my parents house and 5 more I to Crosslake, so perfect proximity. The instructions provided were spot on. A great place to stay up north!

“Great little place with a nice garage for gathering and cooking. Loved how it is just off the main road but you feel like you are in the middle of the woods! Great place great stay!”

“We arrived this adorable little cabin when it was nearly -20 degrees below zero in February. The snowpack in northern MN was incredibly deep, yet we drove right up the perfectly plowed driveway and parked in a heated garage!

We chose this location because we were in the area for Grandma’s 90th birthday and needed a place for our family (2 adults, 1 college student, 1 teen) to stay when we weren’t with extended family.

The cabin was warm and welcoming with extra mini fireplaces for ambiance and additional heat if needed, which we did not need. The teens walked in and said, ‘Awww cute!’

My favorite parts?

1. The queen bed in the bedroom. It was soft; a very important feature for me. Bonus was it had an adjustable frame with remote control! Now I want one at home!! Unfortunately I had to work a bit over the weekend though was able to sit comfortably in the bed with my head and feet raised. It was a luxury way to use my laptop. There is also a Murphy desk in the bedroom and a strong WiFi connection.

2. The setting is beautiful! Pines and aspen, a fire pit, and trails to walk the property. We happened to stay during a full moon which was even more stunning without light pollution. While this property is easy to find just off a main road, it is also quiet among the trees.

3. Speaking of trees, we saw a porcupine sitting up in a tree!!

4. The place is clean!! Actually, I should have listed that as #1 since cleanliness is most important to me.

5. There was a generous supply and variety of coffee grounds, teas, electric tea pot, nice coffee maker, a s’mores kit and all the things you need to cook a lovely meal or just pop popcorn on the stove like I did so we could watch a movie on the smart TV while we sat on the new pull-out sofa.

Some may say I am ‘high maintenance’ though I just say, I’m me. I travel often for work and know what I need to feel comfortable and safe. So, if that resonates and sounds like you, keep reading! There are no funky smells or allergens, though if you do have allergies and are staying here in another season, there is an air purifier. The bedding is cotton, not synthetic and feels great. Same with the bath towels. There was higher end shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Ample blankets and a combo of memory foam and fluffy pillows. Many outlets and end tables with built-in charging ports. There are books, games and even a yoga mat which does fit in front of the living room window if you’d like to start your day in that manner. If it hadn’t been so cold, the deck would’ve been perfect for morning coffee in one of the Adirondack chairs. The bathroom was very clean, the tub drain was not plugged (slow drains are so gross) and the well water does not smell. Plenty of space in the bedroom closet for our church clothes (we went to church with grandma). Honestly, a lovely well-kept cabin. I slept so well, I thought I was in my own bed when I woke up the first morning! Highly recommend.”
